The world is getting closer and closer to becoming like the people in the movie Wall-E.

While it’s common practice for musicians in Japan to regularly appear on television talk shows as either guests or presenters

Really? If you mean the likes of Exile, Arashi, Tokio then yes, but calling them singers is debatable.

Real singers like Utada Hikaru, Ken Hirai, Koda Kumi, Remioromen, Mr Children etc rarely (in fact I have only seen them once or twice in my eight years) on TV. I could be wrong though.

Good luck to her. Someone needs to put the fascist Abe in his place.

We can hope so. It would be funny though, since Abe is against women in the government and then just for show appoints a few women in to the diet to which he might lose. Probably didn't see that one coming.

On the Japanese news they are saying that 50 patients died at that hospital between July and September.

Yet even after five mysterious deaths, no one thought about placing cameras in that ward? let alone after 50 deaths sjeesh.

Hey, another panel. Japan loves setting up panels. If I got a dollar for every time a new panel was created I would have the same amount as the Japanese GDP by now.

“The whole time we were doing this shoot he was just like can you just be more excited… smile more, be more energetic,”

Please be more gaijin, be more crazy and especially SHOUT more like atsugiri Jason and our audience will fall from their chair laughing. That's all the Japanese TV wants foreigners to do, act weird and funny. ugh

Hanks seems like a very nice down to earth man. I remember him pulling a stunt like this before, where he made a photo with a passed out college kid.

the metropolitan government said it found a small amount of arsenic and hexavalent chromium, both of them within permissible levels,

Permissible levels or not, soil should not contain these chemicals period, especially if you are planning to build a facility on it where food will be handled/sold.

And where did the contaminated soil go? I can read some Japanese, got through half this article and fell asleep but it explains what they do with the soil http://oshiete.goo.ne.jp/qa/9414906.html

Since floodings are becoming more and more common, perhaps its time to figure out a way to make the sewers/water ways bigger for water to get out. ALso perhaps build houses on stilts or like in holland, boathouses.

I watch Walking Dead which is fairly gory. Is Game Of Thrones any worse?

Thank god Koike got elected, otherwise big chance this would've never been uncovered. And of course Ishihara is involved.

On Thursday, Shintaro Ishihara, who was governor of Tokyo in 2008, told reporters he had no knowledge about the contamination issues,

BS, other news outlets reported that he was aware of the situation and gave orders to build those concrete bunkers underground.

“I think this could improve the communications skills” of even the shiest game players, Tamaoki said.

Yes because the ladies in real life would react similar as in the game. This is a thin line, PERHAPS it DOES help, and it can make them more social, but it can also have a different effect and make them expect similar "positive" reactions in real life from women. Remember this vr game is suppose to be their fantasy world.

    @Dennis,

Apparently you missed the AV exhibition in Japan earlier this year, I heard it was all the hype.

also watching Sony's conference 2 days ago they introduced a creepy sensei/seito game for VR.

The market will be flooded in no time.
