He should just take his wife and run away, far, far away. Trailing off into the sunset with a one finger salute in tow.

Cut costs by not preparing 'on-site' and what do you get?

Is there some health and safety inspection mechanism in place for such preparation sites (rhetorical question)?

One cannot have their cake amd eat it too.

What would Toshiba do if after the sale with the job loss restriction, the buyer just goes ahead and downsizes 3~6mos. down the road?

Nothing, that's what. This is just a move on Toshiba's part to say, "It's all about the workers!"

Some JCorps haven't woken up from the bubble burst yet.

... is expected to have ...

Eleven prefectures currently without such a facility ... have begun considering setting one up although six of them do not have a concrete timetable at the moment.

From the two quotes above one can get the feeling that JGov's heart might be in the right place, but the mind(set) ...

The government has set a goal of having at least one support center set up in each prefecture by 2020.

All well and good, but what if the crime happens a two hour drive away, as in many rural prefectures?

We didn’t expect such an increase.

If you build it, they will come, and come, and come...

Better to supply local hospitals with rape kits, and train up the staff on how to use them and basic counseling skills.

As stated before, the heart's in the right place. Even so, this is one more JGov edict with little or no real thought or planning.

    Hypothetically, what would you do?

You walk into an ATM kiosk.

It is vacant except for you.

You didn't see anyone leave before entering.

One of two machines is beeping away.

Walking up to it, you discover, say 40,000円.

You've only been in the kiosk for about 7sec.

    What would you do?

Without a comprehensive list of crimes, and public debate over them, JLaw can wedge just about anything into this. The direction JGov is heading, they will do just that.

@Yubaru, what they need are vehicles which never require human input.

Do away with all personal motorized transportation where vehicles are called up on-demand which fit the specific requirements at the time. Any journey less than say 2km is done by bicycle or on foot, if no large object needs transported.

The cracks in JSociety are growing. Only when the foundation starts to crumble away will JGov sit up and take notice. But unfortunatly by then, it will be too late and they will be buried like landfill.

... such businesses are not subject to regulations under the adult entertainment law.

JLaw us rife with loopholes. A prime example is there's no clear 'age of consent' except when 'minors' want to wed.

With these loopholes in place JCops hands are tied.

More and more JGov is proving its only interests are the organizations that give them wealth; the people are meaningless.

How much more will JSociety take its mistreatment?

Someone who holds a Ph. D. is in posession of a Doctoral Degree.

    Check out, https://www.reference.com/education/difference-between-ph-d-doctorate-759cfeb7dc146fb0

Ph. D.s are a subset of Doctorates.

If the advanced degree holder is teaching in the same field as the degree, what's the problem?

Right-wing rhetoric to brainwash the youth earlier.

"These territories are our sovereign right."

In the case of the Northern Territory, they were taken by the USSR just after Japan capitulated.

    Accoring to- https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/KurilIslandsdispute

<The San Francisco Peace Treaty with Japan from 1951 states that Japan must give up all claims to the Kuril Islands, but it also does not recognize the Soviet Union's sovereignty over the Kuril Islands. Furthermore, Japan claims that at least some of the disputed islands are not a part of the Kuril Islands, and thus are not covered by the treaty. Russia maintains that the Soviet Union's sovereignty over the islands was recognized following agreements at the end of the Second World War.

Japan released their claim to these islands.
