Ironically, I'm not sure if this is a joke or not. thats the thing with Trump , when hes serious his comments can be insulting to the point of hysterical. Then when he's joking hes insulting to the point of hysterical. Hes just one big ball of hysterical insults ( with an orange on top)

The US is just as protectionist. when it comes to auto manufacture no country gives more tax breaks, subsidies to this industry than the US. Just look at Tesla in Nevada, tax-free for ten years, saving about $1.2billion over 20yrs. Then you've got the GM Ford taxpayer bailouts about $80billion only of which 70billion was paid back. In April 2015 the Congressional Budget Office estimated that the program would end up costing the taxpayer about $14 billion. Nearly all new auto factories in the US are given huge tax-free incentives to setup in those states. For the US to point fingers at foreign manufacturers for unfair trade just make them look like hypocrites

These policies only enhance protectionist and populist movement spreading around the world, and could largely shake the free trade system that has supported global growth.

**it can reconfigure quickly and rebound. For any country to do so, it has to focus on itself first ** that was before Russia decided to use it military might to push back and China economic might to counter American influence in the Asia region. Make no mistake America wont be able to get its way as easily as it once did, and whether you love/hate China/Russia this is a good thing.

total BS, Japanese have only been around as a nationality for about 3000years, they derived their genetics from other Asian cultures which also trace back to Africa. 3000years is nowhere near long enough for the human body to evolve into a genetically different strain as this so called doctor is insinuating, personal opinions don't trump scientific evidence for which she has none.

evidence that the threat of new EU trade tariffs would not significantly damage investment in Britain. and wheres the money coming from? Ill tell you , higher taxes, lower welfare and healthcare for the average Joe. Manufacturing is dead in the UK. The EU is basically saying if you want to sell goods in the EU youll need to invest and manufacture in the EU

lets see him sign that order that makes Mexico pay for the wall and 45% tariffs on Chinese goods. trade war will cost far more American jobs than Trump could even hope to make

It happens in America also. Retired military generals, admirals and high officials get jobs at aircraft industries and other military industries if they break laws, they get arrested , huge fines and sent to prison if caught. in Japan it just a slap on the wrist, which is why the corruption doesn't decline.

Ummm... they just announced they are afraid they may have to become competitive if Britain won't make them an exception to their expected tariffs and other import/export laws, yet there still the most profitable auto company in the world, making 25% more than VW for the same number of vehicles manufactured. why would they be afraid of Trump . 70% of Toyotas sold in the US are made in the US.

Trump has played right into the hands of the Chinese, theyll most probably take the US position in any future Asian TPP, and US companies will be uncompetitive to the members of RCEP. It'll also give smaller countries more clout being a member of this group as the US will find it difficult to offer higher tariffs to any future bilateral FTA with those countries. The whole point of Trump leaving the TPP was to have more power over these smaller countries. RCEP will counter that.
well see if Trump can get those jobs back then LOL

inferior product while its certainly true for the Galaxy note 7 , the previous Notes were excellent. You can bet when Smasung release the next Note or similar itll be just as good as the previous if not better. A good kick in the guts does wonders for making companies leaner more efficient better products. Just look at Toyota and VW.

“Instead, we seek the greatest possible access to it through a new comprehensive, bold and ambitious free trade agreement.” in other owrds the EU wont allow full free access to their market without large concessions. EU has the UK by the nads now , and they know it. While the UK forks out billions to try and keep manufacturing alive , wait for taxes to rise and social welfare healthcare to become depleted. Brexiteers wanted it , they've now got it.

it like being stuck in one of those nightmares where your being chased by something bad and you cant run because your feet won't move, you scream to yourself wakeup!!. but you cant, then the song is repeated over and over. faaaaarrrkkk!!
Japanese are legends of ringing something out until its past dead, its more like a heap of mush on the ground. The next world war wont be fought with conventional weapons, Japan doesnt need them, all they need to do is wheel out the "Cool Japan cart" enemies will surrender in torture!!!

Where are all the Brexit whiners?
hold on to you horses Brexiteers, the UK hasn't even got it tariff rate for exporting to the EU yet. If you think all EU member states are going to agree on letting the UK to free market access to the EU without some considerable costs and or concessions your seriously deluded. EU clearly has the trading advantage now , and they know it. Youll see just how much your sovereignty cost in the coming years. LOL

Also very typical of the powder-addicted Aussies to go off piste in search of untouched snow even in ridiculous conditions like this. Surprised they could convince the mum to tag along though. yet many more Japanese go missing in Japans wilderness ill prepared.

Perhaps Japan should just quit the IWC, like Canada did, if it wants to continue commercial whaling. then that would make Japans scientific research a complete farse and lie. We know Japan doesn't like to lose face even on the smallest of issues so its unlikely they quit the IWC anytime soon.
