Perez was very gracious in his nomination of Ellison for vice chair. This is how you unify, not as Trump has guided the Republican party.

A political party decimated by the Donald Trump steamroller and their own DNC corruption.

Dem Parth is minoe. They need GO'' anti Trump member. to impeach Trump. Promise it will support one of GOP members to replq Trump.

Dems need to better manage their message.

Care for all Americans (there are no deplorables) as the party for Americans who care about each other.

Expose the Ketchup Squirter's 'fake news' attacks as the Lügenpresse vanguard of a blitzkrieg on hard-won protections (which he'll slander as business-hostile regulations) for the American people and our beautiful planet.

Well I think KILLARY KILLTON has already damaged the DNC beyond repair. They are no better than the GOP imho, politics is more like the wwe.

The democrats still don't get it. President Trump bashing will not win any votes from independent voters like myself.

Also, it doesn't sound like they addressed the issue of how Sanders was treated by Hillary and the DNC. They instead backed a tainted candidate in the race, and voters like me had no plan of voting for her long before any Podesta emails were leaked. Now, the democratic hierarchy is encouraging national unrest rather than calling on all party members to be part of a peaceful transition of power. Instead, they honestly believe that more protests, riots and destroying property will bring the people they need (us independent voters, job holders, tax payers, etc.) back into their fold.

Americans are witnessing history today. The end has now officially begun for the Democratic Party. The party of FDR and JFK is becoming extinct; replaced by a far-leftist approach.

Perez is old guard Harvard Law establishment, same old problems that caused their loss. He even talks like Obama...LOL. No, they don't get it. I'm not even sure Nation of Islam member Kieth Ellison is much better. Perez didn't mention the courruption of weiserman and others in his acceptance speech which tells you they're doubling down. Good luck with that.

Pretty much seals the deal, for Trump in 2020.

Sanders isn't even a member of the party. What obligation does the DNC have to give the leadership position to an Independent Socialist ? Exactly none. Perez was probably the best of a bad lot considering Hillary did win the primaries fair and square and nearly pulled off a victory in the general. Trump needs to concentrate on fulfilling his own agenda or he is going to find himself in exactly the same position.

Hillary did win the primaries fair and square

Where the heck have you been? It's a fact the Hillary campaign conspired with the DNC to "knock down" Sanders.

Well she did win under the rules of the primaries, so it can be argued she won fair and square, as there wasn't any 'cheating' going on. But that said, she also conspired with the DNC to ensure she won and not Sanders.

The primary system is broken and needs to be fixed.

They need to pick a decent enough candidate. It's no secret that people believe both Hillary and Trump are the lowest of the low candidates - and it's just a matter of picking the lesser of 2 evils. If they get someone who is decent enough and not going to be considered as a matter of picking the lesser of 2 evils, then they have a chance to overturn the states they lost by just a few percentage fractions

Where in the rules does it say it's fair and square that MSMCNN contributor Donna Brazile giving a specific question to Clinton/Podesta one day prior her debate with Sanders in Flint, MI?
